Avocado Sandwich is a Yogyakarta-based musical unit born from post-campus routines near the North Ringroad area in late 2024. What began as a stress-relieving jam session between Fito (Vocals/Guitar), Fyan (Guitar), Aflah (Drums), and Acep (Original Bassist) eventually evolved into something more. The band’s name was inspired by the lush avocado tree at Fyan’s house, paired with the word "Sandwich" to represent their musical vision: layered, dense, yet consistently honest and organic.

By late 2025, the lineup solidified with the addition of Zafid on bass, marking a transition toward focusing on original works. To date, Avocado Sandwich has chosen to spend most of their time incubating in the studio, maturing their sound exploration before officially taking the stage.

Refusing to be confined by specific genre boundaries, they offer a raw sound wrapped in candid, melancholic lyrics. Avocado Sandwich allows every note and word to find its own meaning in the ears of whoever listens.
